An exciting opportunity for film makers and music makers to work together on HUMTOO.com.

HUMFEST is a new project development prize for the best short film uploaded on HUMTOO, and also, for the best music pitched for that short film.

HUMTOO will give AU$1000 (£444‚€556) to the best short film uploaded to the site as a project in search of music. HUMTOO will also give AU$1000 (£444‚€556) to the music maker who wins that project. This money will help you to continue making great short films and great music!

How to Enter? Your film can be of any length and at any stage of development, but between 30 seconds and 3 minutes of footage must be uploaded to HUMTOO.com. The film can be of any genre, but it must find a winning composer on HUMTOO. The footage can be a rough cut from your film, but the footage must be shot by your team for the short film project.

Any film uploaded between the 27 August 2008 - 27 July 2009 will qualify. The winner will be chosen on the 1st August 2009, so the film's music pitch deadline must be before the 29th of July. The winners will be judged by a selection of top industry professionals and will gain further exposure here and other partner venues. Best of all, listing projects on HUMTOO (and entry) is free! HUMFEST is for short films only. Other genres, such as a TV commercial, podcast, radio show, etc don't qualify - but please list them if they need great music, our talented music makers would be happy to provide it for you...
